These are my personal projects.

My professional work isn’t linked here — much of it has been rebuilt or replaced over time — but over the years it has included large Australian corporate and government sites, data platforms, campaign microsites, and high-traffic public information systems.

I’m currently focused on my own long-term projects and infrastructure. Some of the projects listed below are actively under development, some are stable and focussed on content production, and some are preserved as archives.

Data Platform (Analytics & Ranking)

A data-driven ranking and analytics system built on Backdrop with custom ingestion pipelines. It aggregates and normalises large volumes of third-party data, presents a variety of structured visualisations, and allows visitors to perform their own searches and analyses.

Photographic Dictionary

Photographic Dictionary is a long-running photo dictionary illustrating common words with curated images. Originally launched in 2009, it is now powered by a custom PHP backend and continues to evolve as a structured content system.

Words, by Cat

Words by Cat is a companion site to Photographic Dictionary, where fun photos with cats in get their own showcase. Built with Jekyll, it serves as a lightweight spinoff of the main project.

Giraffian

Giraffian is a collection of children’s jokes, cartoons and simple activities dating back to 2002. Now largely static, it uses minimal PHP for templating and pagination and remains online as an archive of an earlier era.

Stancartoons

Stancartoons is a publishing platform for my father’s cartoons. Rebuilt in 2024 and hosted on WordPress.com, it supports ongoing publication of new and archived work.
